Welcome to my profile! I received my real estate license in 1980. I earned my GRI (Graduate of Realtor’s Institute) designation in 1997. I have served as president of my local board of realtors and have been voted as Best of the Best Real Estate Agent sponsored by the Southern Standard, a local community newspaper). I am a member of the National Association of Realtors and the Tennessee Association of Realtors. I have also earned my ABR (Accredited Buyers Representative) and HFR (Home Finance Resource) certifications. I also currently volunteer with our local Meals on Wheels program and Hamilton Street (McMinnville Housing Authority youth activity center).

On a personal note, I have been married to Kelly McVey Jr. since 1977. We have 2 children, Jason and Jeremy; 1 daughter-in-law, Sarah and 3 grandchildren, Isaac, Kathleen and Cooper. I am a member of Christ Chapel church where I serve as pianist (since 1985) and my husband serves as music director. I also teach 4 th -6 th grade Sunday School.

McMinnville is a most friendly Middle Tennessee community on the Cumberland Plateau. We are conveniently located 1 ½ hours SE of Nashville, 1 ½ hour from Chattanooga and roughly 3 hours from Knoxville. Our county has a state park (Rock Island State Park) which has become popular with kayakers from all over. Fall Creek Falls State Park is within an hour drive and we also have 5 rivers that converge into Center Hill Lake. I invite you to “check out” our Nursery Capital of the World!
